Barytes is a natural Barium Sulphate having high whiteness. It is also characterised by very high bulk density and inertness to both acids as well as alkalies. Barytes is totally insoluble in water. Barite is used as a pigment in paints to control the viscosity as well as add brightness. It is also used as weighted filler in paper, cloth and rubber production
We operate two Barite Mines – one with an extent of 20 acres at Gani Village, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh and another One with an extent of 6 acres at Vempalli Village, Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh.
